Tucked off the main roads, this cute hotel is quieter while still close to everything. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood both in the daytime and at night. Housekeeping came daily, and the place was generally in good condition. They also left purified water in a carafe in our fridge, which was a nice touch. I mentioned that the shared kitchen sink was spraying a bit, and the host had it fixed within a couple of hours. Especially nice for couples looking for a quiet, romantic escape near Tulum. The first photo is from our room at night, the second is by the pool during the day.

After the long trip from Australia, 13 Lunas gave me the calm I needed to recharge and enjoy a lovely stay. The rooms are practical, spotless, and beautifully designed. I loved starting the morning with a dip in the pool or jacuzzi before coffee. Claudia, the owner, was so lovely and relaxed, and always ready to help. She’s also a brilliant guide for making the most of Tulum. Such a beautiful little paradise, thank you. I’ll definitely be back! 🌞

Getting here is a whole adventure. The road is so rough it’s like driving across the Moon, through Jurassic Park, or over a nuclear test site. Think Berlin in 1945, my high school face, and my first marriage, all equally bumpy. I’m joking, but it really is that bad. If you can make it down this road, you’re ready for a radio championship. My tiny rental car managed it, and yours can too. It’s worth the drive for such an isolated, quiet, relaxing, refreshing place.

My dream home, and my favorite address in all of Yucatan. The rooms, decor, bathrooms, kitchen, equipment, comfort, cleanliness, pool, garden, quiet, and location are all perfect. I’d give it six stars if I could!

Claudia, the manager, was so helpful and had lots of good advice. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful, cozy bungalow. Such a little corner of paradise in Tulum.
