Tuané Tulum

The location was handy for shopping, and the staff were great. The host contact was wonderful too. But the condo we rented for two months wasn’t what we expected. There was no oven, and the kitchen had so little equipment that we had to buy our own. Cleaning the floors was difficult without a mop. Doing laundry was a hassle because starting the washers and dryers required an app. I only had my personal phone, not a Mexican one, so I had to ask other residents for help. The listing said every building had a rooftop pool, but that wasn’t true. If owners rent their places for more than a few days, I’d suggest providing guests with some basic conveniences.

The stay at Tuale Tulum felt poorly managed and fell short of what we expected. Several things weren’t in acceptable condition, and the place needs proper maintenance. We were meant to have the whole building to ourselves, but that didn’t happen. We had also booked the entire place with a private pool, then got moved to a different unit without one. The balcony furniture had no cushions, so we couldn’t use it. The water smelled strongly of rotten eggs, the trash wasn’t taken out, and new garbage bags we requested didn’t arrive until we were leaving. The internet never worked, and even after we told the host, they didn’t deal with it.

Really love this place. The apartments feel luxurious, the pools are nice, and everything around them is clean. Staff are friendly too.

The architecture is incredible, and staff are friendly. It’s also well located near Tulum’s main avenue.
