Kevin and Lourdes took care of my whole group during our great stay at Villa Mar Azul. It's right on the beach in a perfect spot, and we got to use the kayaks and paddle boards. The place felt safe and secure, with several hotel restaurants and bars just a few minutes' walk away. It's also close to Tulum's main town and other excursions you might want to take.

The caretakers were so helpful whenever we needed anything, and the house had all the beach gear and conveniences we wanted, including snorkels, boogie boards, and a washer and dryer. Villa Mar Azul is beautiful and in a perfect spot. We had a great beach vacation and would happily recommend it.

Six of the nine of us got cuts from broken pool tiles, and my son came back with a bad ear infection that cost $1,000. The pool really needs to be cleaned and repaired more often. We were there during seaweed season, March to August, and had to kayak about 100 yards out. My wife wanted to leave as soon as we arrived. I guess it might be nice otherwise.
