The room was filthy, and I have photos to show it, though I can't upload them here. Our reservation was incorrect, and the staff kept blaming one another instead of taking responsibility. The manager, Fabiola, was condescending and unapologetic; the other staff were somewhat friendly. At night, a siren sounded every 15 minutes and kept us awake or woke us up. We also had to ask someone to switch on the water heater before we could get a warm shower. I stayed two nights, and after my first review disappeared, I decided to keep writing until one stayed up. I don't recommend this place.

We'd gladly come back. The hotel is in a great spot, with comfortable beds, strong AC, a fridge in the room, and a spacious restroom. There's a big ice machine downstairs, and secure, gated parking with a guard is available two blocks away. Everything we could want in a hotel.

The church beside the hotel rings its bell every 30 minutes, which was nice to listen to. The people were good and the hotel was a good place to stay. The food was good too, though as a strict vegetarian I didn't have much choice.

The in-house restaurant serves some great food, and there's a great view from the hotel. It's right in the middle of Tuxpan, and the old Spanish-style look gives it character. The staff were good, and it worked well as a place to crash.

Clean, with efficient service and cheap rates. It's an okay hotel, though there aren't any luxuries.
