Villa Mandarina Suites Tuxpan

The bathroom smelled awful, and the room I got was really ugly. It felt almost like sleeping in a motel, except I paid hotel prices.

Some tenants were playing music really loud. Apart from that, very good.

I was cold and asked for a blanket, but no one answered. The rooms weren’t very clean, and although I was supposed to get a suite, the keys were just left in a mailbox. Noise carried so much that you could hear everything. I couldn’t sleep, and spent the whole day at work with terrible back and head pain. For a family trip to Tuxpan, I’d never choose this hotel. Terrible place.

The rooms are spacious, and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. The river is only one block away, and you can reach the city center quickly by shared taxi or even on foot. The bathroom faucet makes a lot of noise and sprays water to the sides. There are no curtains in the shower or toilet, and people in the houses across the street can see in. One small pane of glass is missing from a bedroom window, so you hear a lot of street noise.
