We came from Palenque and arrived around 2:30 a.m. They had a room ready right away for two adults and two kids, for $1,140 pesos. We're from Highlands Texas and were visiting family in Cintalapa Chiapas. The buffet is worth trying, especially the loaded pancakes that the kids loved.

We found the area safe and the service excellent. Food was cheap and really good, and the fried bananas were heavenly. A great spot for visiting Americans.

The pool was lovely, even though it wasn't heated, and the restaurant food was mostly delicious. We also had private, secure parking. Our room had air conditioning and hot water, and the staff were so friendly, especially Angel at reception. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Tuxtla.

Angel made us feel welcome and was especially helpful, even offering to heat water in a bucket when the hot water took a while to come through. That small issue wasn't a big deal, and his thoughtfulness is exactly why we'd happily return. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the rooms excellent. Restaurant service was excellent too. Thanks for everything, and I hope to see you again soon.

I haven't stayed overnight, but the restaurant service is very good and the prices are good too. It makes you want to try the pool.
