The staff were really nice, and we could park in the hotel yard. Our clean, pleasant room had a coffee maker, though no refrigerator. In the evenings there’s a burger shop across from the hotel. Street noise was very loud, and several dogs in the area barked in the evening, which could disturb you at night.
At midnight, after driving for hours to Valladolid on my own, I was left without anywhere to sleep. We’d been texting, and I said I would arrive about 10 minutes before 10 pm. I reached the same block five minutes before 10, but they stopped replying. I spent 45 minutes trying to find the address for a last-minute reservation, then another three hours finding somewhere else. I felt sick. They didn’t seem to care, took money from my credit card, and blocked me from writing a review in the Booking app. They refused to refund me even though it was their fault. SHAME ON YOU SACEK.
The air conditioning was really noisy. When I tried to sort it out with the owner, suddenly he didn’t understand English anymore. The hamburger stand beside the bedroom door was noisy too, though it closed at 23:00.

It’s a cheap place, but there are limits. They told me the budget option didn’t include hot water, though they offered a kettle to heat some. The smart TV is advertised, but installing apps is blocked, and streaming needs an account. The internet drops out often. We only needed somewhere to sleep, shower, and move on, so the good price and location worked for us as we were passing through. Still, it would help to get clearer information about things like sheets or hot water.
