We got lucky with Casa Yaxche after deciding at the last minute to visit Valladolid in the middle of the Christmas holidays, when every hotel seemed booked. It was the last place I called, and Gaspar said he had one room left. The hotel feels brand new and was spotless, with very comfortable beds. The staff made us feel so welcome and kept checking that we had everything we needed. I'd highly recommend Casa Yaxche.
