Hotel Boutique Sayab

The two ladies were so lovely and made us feel at home, and the rest of the staff were sweet, caring, and kind too. Our two-night honeymoon stay felt special: they left wine and chocolates on the bed as a present, and stocked the room with complimentary snacks, water, beers, and more. We even had the room cleaned and towels changed during our stay, which was such a treat. The rooms are huge and the pool area is cute. Don’t hesitate to book.

The staff were so nice, parking was easy, and I loved the huge, clean, comfortable room. I even had a little private patio and a kitchenette that saved me money by letting me store food to make. They’d also left snacks, a mini fridge full of drinks, wine, and chocolates. After struggling to find a soft bed in Mexico, I was thrilled to finally get one and didn’t want to leave. The WiFi was fairly useless. It didn’t matter much since I had no work to do and brought books, and I imagine it may be stronger in one of the central areas. I stayed a few nights to see the archeological areas nearby, but the city itself is a real gem. It’s safe, a reasonable walk to the center, and easy to get onto the roads to surrounding areas. A lovely little hotel. I’d absolutely come back.

We had a very different experience from what the good reviews led us to expect. There were lots of cockroaches in our room, the shower didn’t work, and the blankets had a strange smell. It was also noisy, especially with a ground-floor room. Not a good stay for us.

Our room was right by the lobby, so we could hear other guests coming and going and it was a bit loud. Even so, we loved staying here. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are huge, and the bed was very comfortable.
