Our plans changed, so we needed somewhere at the last minute and stumbled across Hotel Hacienda Sanchez by accident. It was available and met what we were looking for, then turned out to be better than expected. The room was comfortable and quiet, everything was exceptionally clean, and the staff were welcoming and hospitable. We couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant place to stay.

We come here for breakfast now and then, but today's meal was horrible. The bacon was undercooked, the fruit wasn't ripe, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for days. It'll be a while before we come back, if we do at all.

We had breakfast here and the portions were generous, with really good food. The hotel was a stopover on our way to Mexico City. Our room was cosy and tidy, and the surroundings and pool were clean and well kept. There are water dispensers throughout the hotel to keep drinking water cold. There's also an old car museum on the grounds and a restaurant with local history. A sincere recommendation for anyone travelling.

I booked this room by accident on the day of check-in because I was heading to a city with the same name in a different country. The booking was normally non-refundable, but the hotel understood and kindly cancelled it without charging me. I really appreciate that. I've never been to Mexico or this hotel, but it looks absolutely stunning in the pictures, and I hope I can travel there with my family one day. It seems like a very nice, friendly hotel.
