Hotel Meson del Viento

We were close to the center, about four blocks away, but the hotel itself was very quiet. The rooftop pool was great, especially at sunset, and the massage therapy was amazing. Stylish, comfortable, clean, and modern. Highly recommend!

With the rooftop music blasting, I couldn't relax at home, and I doubt even the hotel guests can. I expected a boutique hotel to be somewhere peaceful, but the loud rooftop music, which I believe is illegal, made that impossible. I wouldn't bother going to check the place out.

We came across the restaurant while out walking and found it calm and relaxing. The staff were cordial and attentive to what we needed, and the varied menu let us adjust a dish to suit our daughter. We all enjoyed our meals: I had salmon, my husband ordered caldo tlalpeño, and our daughter had fettuccine Alfredo. I also tried the sirena mixed drink, which was delicious. Very good service, and I'd recommend it.

The rooftop was a highlight, with lovely lake views that made it a great spot for coffee mid-morning or a drink before dinner. Breakfast was very good too, with hot and cold dishes and juices to choose from. I especially liked the French toast. I hadn't expected the hotel to be this nice. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, tasteful, and spotless, and the shower deserves a special mention. It's also very well located in Valle de Bravo. I'd love to come back.
