The pool was one of the main reasons we booked, and my daughter and grandbabies cried because they wanted to swim. It was filthy, had no filter, and the filter’s electrical part was just lying at the edge. We got two rooms, and both had broken things and dirt. There were holes in places, the TVs didn’t work, and there was no Wi-Fi or phone signal. The pictures are misleading, and I wouldn’t call it safe for kids or suitable for families. They advertise breakfast, but there was none, and there isn’t even a restaurant. Old tables in the lobby made it look like there might be one. Never again.

I woke in the night thinking I had a terrible allergy, only to find bedbugs crawling over me and the bed, with huge bites. The front desk staff kindly offered another room, but I checked for bugs and found them there too. The next room was creepy and old, like something from a horror story, and had bedbugs and little roaches as well. With nearby hotels full, I had to spend the night in my car. The next day I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn, a three-star hotel, and it was a completely different experience. This place claims to be four stars, but it isn’t. The rooms are large for the price, though very old and poorly maintained, with parts falling apart and no iron. There are no restaurants in the building. Those things might be fine if you only need to spend the night, but you can’t sleep there. One star is too generous.

The Acuario has so many interesting species, and they give clear, timely information about each animal you’re looking at. There was also a dolphin show, which was a lot of fun.
