The suites were wonderfully spacious, just right for unwinding after a day out. We booked a few different ones as we extended our stay. Suite 133 has a large balcony, killer views, and lovely natural light. The room coffee from local roasters was a nice extra. This charming, clean inn is conveniently located and has super friendly staff, a lovely courtyard, and a no-frills restaurant with a handful of breakfast dishes included in the stay.

We stayed in a beautiful, comfortable suite with good beds, air conditioning and heating, a kitchenette, and a private patio overlooking a pretty garden. The posada is very well located, with restaurants, coffee shops, and the main square all within walking distance. I’d come back!

We had such a lovely stay at this unique, picturesque bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown Xalapa. Breakfast was delicious and an affordable addition to the room price. It felt very safe, with someone at the door around the clock to make sure only guests came in. We recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive place to stay.

The downsides: there’s no parking, and the restroom has no ventilation or air freshener. In summer the rooms get hot in the evenings, though they’re cool early in the morning, and there’s no air conditioning. On the plus side, it’s a nice old-style hotel with excellent service, low prices, and a great location near downtown Xalapa. It’s clean, includes a free continental breakfast, and has an inexpensive restaurant if you want something else. Wi-Fi is decent, as are the beds and pillows.

I stayed here a few years ago when my son was living in Mexico. Everyone was very nice, and the place was clean and safe. If I ever go back to Xapala, I’d stay here again.
