We were really disappointed. Housekeeping did a nice job, and the bed and bedding were comfortable, but the room smelled musty and moldy. At check-in, nobody explained anything about the rooms or restaurant, and reception was almost always empty. The shower took more than 10 minutes to warm up, then went cold again. In December, when mornings and evenings are quite chilly here, a warm shower would have been welcome. I live in Mexico, and an on-demand gas or electric heater isn’t that expensive. This place calls itself a boutique hotel, but it doesn’t have the amenities to justify how overpriced it is.

There’s an extensive wine selection in the wine cave, and the new restaurant is absolutely first class. The menu has a good range, with traditional dishes alongside the chef’s own creations. Service was attentive, and the dining space was quiet and comfortable.

The courtyard is pretty, the king bed was nice, parking is private, and breakfast was good. But the shower curtain was covered in mold, which is disgusting and unacceptable for a place calling itself a boutique hotel and charging 70 USD a night, over 1600 pesos. Water pressure was poor, and the water stopped for several minutes while we were showering. Service felt indifferent. With all that, the place is overpriced.

Nice hotel and rooms, but there was NO hot water!!! It didn't bother me, though most women probably wouldn't like it.
