Casa San Miguel Hotel Boutique y Spa

The food was good, the place was clean, and they can accommodate both small parties and large groups. It’s perfectly located within walking distance of shops, breathtaking views, and gorgeous murals. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Zacatlan. I’m not quick to give five stars, but this hotel earned them. A fine place.

It’s the only actual hotel in Zacatlán, which might set your expectations low, but it’s surprisingly great. A top-notch boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

An incredible place to stay in Zacatlan, though it’s a little expensive. I could hear some stream noise in the room. With prices this high, the owner should work on sound insulation.

Those stylish outdoor areas look beautiful, but don’t let them fool you. We booked two nights for our honeymoon and ended up driving home after giving up the money for the second night. The airless, claustrophobic suite made sleep impossible. We were so exhausted we also lost a day in Zacatlán that we’d been looking forward to. The staff tried to find another option, but the room’s layout and AC were impossible to work around. The first level was freezing while the loft sleeping area was stuffy and unbearable. Someone needs to make the architect sleep in one of these rooms!
