I booked two nights and ended up leaving after one. The towels were very old, maybe 20 years, and the sheets and blanket were old too. I asked to change rooms, and Evelyn at the front desk was very helpful. She gave me another room, but it wasn't very clean, there were a few women's hairs on the bed, and the towels were the same old ones with a weird smell. When I went back, she offered another room. I wasn't happy with it because the sheets and pillowcases weren't clean either. I agreed to take it if they could give me fresh sheets and pillowcases, and asked them to let me know when it was ready. She never called, so I called the front desk. She told me to come down. When I got there, the rude manager asked if I wanted to check out. Her attitude was very rude, with no experience or customer service. The front desk people were better than her. I decided to check out. Never again. 😡

Parking is the drawback. The secured shared lot is a bit of a walk away. If you need food quickly, there are restaurants in the same building. One Hotel is still my go-to hotel chain in Mexico, and it didn't disappoint this time either.

There was lots of fresh fruit at breakfast, and the bed was comfortable. The economy room was clean, though kind of small for two people. Water pressure was good, but there wasn't much hot water. Parking was my biggest complaint. The entrance is marked very poorly and is hard to find. You have to use the sister hotel next door's sub-basement, which is very dark. Then you have to walk outside, so it's inconvenient if you forget something.

The included breakfast was decent, and for the price I thought it was good value. I felt safe there, too. My fiancée thought the place felt like a “kill hotel,” but to me it was more like a dormitory. She doesn’t like hotels anyway 🤷.

The location worked really well, and the restaurants downstairs make a great mix 👌🏾. I loved the staff, especially the Operations Manager and the gentleman at the front door.
