The views were amazing, the showers were good, the air conditioning worked well, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was also very nice, as in the photos. The pool looked nice too, though the loungers were dirty. Common areas were very dirty and needed power washing. The road up to the hotel was blocked at the bottom, so we had to walk up with our suitcases. They'd told us beforehand, but offered no help, even though vehicles were on the hotel side of the closure and a pickup could have been arranged. From the entrance to our rooms there were 105 steps. With our bags, that meant two or three trips. We got almost no help, and at some points staff just watched us struggle and sweat. All rooms involve lots of steps up or down. Because of that, we didn't come back to shower after the beach during our stay, and went straight to dinner in our beachwear and shorts.

The hilltop setting is peaceful and the views are beautiful. It's near the beach, but I'd recommend having a vehicle unless you're up for an Olympic-level uphill walk. After parking, expect around 80 steps to your room. The Italian manager is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The facilities are a bit hit-or-miss, as is the internet: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. A charming place for some exercise, a warm welcome, and a taste of Mexico's laid-back vibe.

The rooms weren't properly cleaned, and we even found a dead cockroach in ours. The included breakfast was so small it was almost nothing. On the first day they gave us orange juice as part of it, then when we were leaving, the owner and manager demanded payment for it as an extra. Even after they realized it was their mistake, they insisted in a rude way. The location isn't bad, but there are lots of other places nearby, closer to the beach, with cleaner, better rooms, lower prices, and definitely nicer staff. This place was terrible and not worth the cost.

Frederica and Lucy helped make sure all my guests were happy when I organized a huge party for my 40th. Everyone was accommodating and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. This was perfect for reserving all the rooms and keeping everyone together at a big event. There is a walk up and down from the hotel, though having an ATV makes getting around much easier. I loved everything about this magical place, from the pool and terrace to the amazing views from the Honeymoon Suite. Thank you!!!
