They charged us for 8 nights when the original booking was for 7. I already had concerns about their service, and this makes me say stay away. This was my fourth trip to Zipo, by the way.

For five years, whenever I’ve gone to Zipolite, I’ve stayed here. The staff are wonderful, and it’s clean and private in an excellent location. Other hotels at similar prices can be run down and not very clean, but this one has kept its simple, clean standard over all those years. Highly recommend it. /Pouria

It’s well located, but the area is very noisy. The photos are deceiving, and the Wi-Fi is bad. The place is old and extremely basic, with minimal furniture and no luxury at all, less than I’d expect. I don’t recommend it.

You can hear every voice and conversation in this hotel, which feels like a concrete well. People came in talking loudly at 2-3am, then someone started a work call at 5am, and the cleaner began cleaning a nearby room at 6am. The noise carried through the night. Good for people who don’t want to sleep.

Booking through the site sent us to a different hostel in Zipolite called “casa aduquin”. I don’t know if it was an error or a scam, but check carefully when booking so you don’t get into trouble.
