This place is seriously rough and filthy. I’ve never stayed anywhere this dirty. Bugs crawled on me at night, and the shower water smelled awful. It may look cheap, but you’ll lose your money when you realize you can’t stay here. This one ain’t it.

The room is basic, with a fan and its own bathroom, and nights are quiet since it’s away from the party bars. The owners are really helpful. They take cards too, which isn’t usual in this hamlet.

The woman at reception was so nice and helpful. This isn’t a party hostel and doesn’t have a particular vibe, but it’s a good, cheap, quiet place to stay in Zipolite, right by the beach.

The owners are great hosts, and the beach and Zip “strip” are both a short walk away. Theresa is very basic, though.
