The location was excellent, and the beach chairs were the best on the whole beach. The staff were hardworking, fun, and incredibly helpful with all our questions. My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Naked. We also booked a massage and holistic healing session, and were amazed by the quality of both. Room service was excellent, and the bed was really comfortable. We were sad to leave and will definitely return. The one thing we’d change is having more variety in the music over the week, though the staff were accommodating when we brought it up. Thanks to Luis, Rafael, Gerardo, Onassis, Bill, Daniel, Wendy, Cesar, and all the other staff members whose names we didn’t get to learn, for doing such an incredible job.

The place itself is nice, but it seems caught between two identities. It could be a quiet oasis for seasoned travelers staying a while, yet it also runs as a pool club with blaring music. The speakers distort, and the DJ comes across as an amateur who doesn’t read the crowd. I talked to other hotel guests, and none of us liked the music. We thought it was horrible, repetitive, looped stuff that seemed aimed at people at a rave. I don’t understand why such a gorgeous place plays it. It wasn’t even full in January. Maybe asking guests who didn’t return the next year would help explain why. I won’t come back. The music sucks, and next door at Nude it’s even worse. Beware. There are plenty of quality places for a great vacation where you’re not forced into a dance club every day. I had to leave the resort to find peace and quiet. Horrible.

It wasn’t our favorite stay, though I can see how others might love the social energy and atmosphere. Hotel Naked has a great location, within walking distance of bars and restaurants, and lovely ocean views. The patio furniture and layout are nice, and the double-wide rain shower is a standout. Staff were warm and friendly, especially Manager Luis and beach server César. It seems best suited to guests looking for a boutique party hotel with a lively pool and lots of boys. If you usually stay somewhere like the Four Seasons, it may not be your place. The bed was uncomfortable, the floors creaked, and noise from pigeons and the ocean made it hard to sleep. The balcony tub looks sexy, but the patio and room aren’t private, neighbors and people on the beach can see in. Dogs weren’t well controlled either, and we saw some pee on the beach beds.

Everyone from reception and management to the service staff was warm, attentive, and on top of things. We felt cared for throughout our relaxing, worry-free stay at Naked Resort in Zipolite. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional, with a real sense of care. We had an amazing time and will definitely return. 🫶🏻
