Really nice house.

The view is truly beautiful, and the owner moved us to a different cabin when we found bedbugs in the first one. There weren’t any in the second cabin. I don’t think she was blaming us because we had pets, since they never went into the rooms. Still, the bedbugs are why I’m giving this place just one star.

There was plenty of room to settle in, and my cabin had three bedrooms. You could get firewood right there for the fireplace, and upstairs there was a small terrace with a table and chairs where we enjoyed coffee. Parking on the property felt secure, too. It’s a cozy, affordable place to stay when visiting Zirahuén, and the owner was incredibly kind. The rooms don’t have closets, just a small nightstand or dresser, which was the only downside for me.

The lake is easy to reach from the cabin, though there are a lot of steps to go down. You can see it from the rooms, too, and the view is lovely. I was especially impressed by how clean everything was. I’ve never stayed in cabins this spotless, from the sinks to the dust-free furniture. It would help to have more towels, soap, and toilet paper provided so guests don’t have to ask. Firewood would be a nice extra as well, but otherwise everything was excellent.
