Sunshine Residence Suites

The room is big enough for four people or a family, and the location is good, but the management is bad. Staying one day is okay, but I wouldn’t recommend staying more than two days. They don’t clean the room until checkout. You have to pack all the rubbish in a bag and leave it outside the room. There are no replacement towels, so bring your own. The counter staff said it’s a service apartment and they don’t provide daily cleaning or towels unless you ask. We asked, but the towels still weren’t replaced. When we found a cleaner, they said the staff hadn’t told them to do it. The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear people walking on the floor above and neighbours shouting and screaming at midnight. When it rains, the floor gets wet, which is very dangerous for kids and older people. The chances of getting dengue are very high. This trip was a horrible, stressful holiday for us.

The staff were friendly and efficient, and the unit was clean and well-organized with a beautiful view. It was comfortable and high-quality for our family of four, with a dedicated parking space for one car. Sunshine Mall and various dining options are nearby, and Nasi Kandar Kg Melayu is just a short walk away. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Penang.

Check-in was smooth, and parking was convenient. The location makes it easy to get to food places and a shopping mall nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making this a comfortable place to stay. A pleasant stay for the price, and I’d definitely come back 👍

The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond when I needed something. My room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. It was a very pleasant, relaxing stay. I’d recommend the property and would be happy to stay here again.
