A Fomasa Villa is clean and beautiful, with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Great for a family trip or a getaway. Highly recommended!

The villas are deep inside A Famosa's Resort area, so getting there from the main entrance takes around 10 minutes by car. Plan ahead for meals, since you’ll otherwise need to drive out. Bringing your own food and cooking there is a good idea. We’ve stayed with family twice, in Villa 998 and Villa 988. Both had four spacious bedrooms that comfortably fit 8 people, plus a decent sized pool. The furniture, facilities, and overall exterior looked clean and well maintained despite the slightly old fashioned design. Parking in front is spacious, with room for two large SUVs or up to four smaller vehicles. For the reasonable price, I can’t complain. We’ll definitely come back soon.

The place itself was okay, but we had inconsiderate neighbors who set off fireworks and firecrackers late at night, after midnight, and early in the morning. The noise was so loud that security must have heard it, but they didn’t come over or warn them. The hotel told me fireworks and firecrackers weren’t allowed. Hotel staff and security should be stricter with guests doing this.

It’s a cozy, quiet place away from town, good if you and your friends want some peace or need somewhere for a corporate brainstorming session. It’s secluded, and there’s a swimming pool most of the time, so check first. Bringing your own food and cooking here would help, since otherwise you’ll need to drive out. Hope that helps. Also, my friend found a hidden frog. Lol.

It’s a guarded area and a good place to stay if you want to avoid disturbance. It can feel quite spooky at night. Don’t go jogging then unless you want an adrenaline test with dogs sniffing around a garbage bin that the foreign workers haven’t picked up. I wonder why they hire foreign workers if they can’t do their job properly. These days foreign workers seem so lazy, like they expect others to cover for them, especially when there’s new staff.
