We had three people in the room but only two towels, and when we asked for another, we were told that two towels per room was the policy. Why charge for three people, then? The policy should be reviewed. The swimming pool wasn’t maintained, and the routes to the facilities weren’t clear either. My first disappointment was finding out that the condo management wasn’t under Park Royal, as I had thought. It needs to be made clear that the condos and villas are run separately from Hotel Park Royal at A Famosa resort. The place is substandard.

The buffet breakfast was wonderful and delicious. We stayed just one night in a two-room condo in Block 3, and the price seemed fair. The apartment was clean and the bed comfortable. We spent the day at the animal safari park and water themepark, so we were only there to sleep.

Our room was nice and comfortable, with two queen beds and a wet kitchen. My husband woke up itchy after sleeping in the bed, though, so the mattress needs to be cleaned for mites. The sofa in the living hall should be replaced too. Still, it was good overall.

The buffet breakfast was nice, and the front desk staff were very helpful. We booked two two-bedroom apartments. One was in fairly good shape, but the other wasn’t clean enough. Its curtains and sofa were very old, the bathtub was cracked, and there were bird droppings on the balcony. Nice place, but the condition differed between the units.
