Hotel Alor Gajah

The location is close to all kinds of amenities, but the price didn't feel worth it. Water leaked through the bathroom glass wall into the main room, wetting the floor and my things, and the sink leaked too. The bathroom had no mirror. The pillow and blanket were stained and didn't seem clean, and I could hear noise from a neighbouring room. There were no basic supplies like a toothbrush, toothpaste, drinking water, coffee sachets, or a water boiler. Housekeeping came only once a day. The shower heater also cooled down too quickly and couldn't keep a consistent temperature.

The room was a little small, but fine for sleeping, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The workers were helpful, the towels were provided, and the shower had good pressure with a water heater that worked well. The TV had local channels. There’s no lift, and the room had no toiletries, bottled water, or kettle. There was a water dispenser in the lobby, though. Also, there was no mirror in the bathroom. For the price, it was decent.

The receptionist was helpful and friendly. They also offer a three-hour stay for RM 50, which should give you time for a shower and a short nap. The room was okay, but quite small for RM 100. The TV had only basic free channels, with no Astro, and most rooms had no windows. Some of the pillows smelled a bit.

You can hear people playing snooker in the building next door. I told reception, but nothing was done. If you can't sleep, what more can you ask of a hotel? Avoid this place.
