It's still very good for the price of a small budget hotel. My room and the hotel are nice and very clean, and everything I needed was nearby. MrDiy and several grocery shops are within walking distance. If you need somewhere for a nearby wedding, to register your child at uitm lendu, or for a similar reason, this is a nice place to stay. It's comfortable and well equipped. The heater works, but the bathroom has no sink. This motel is for a cheap base to sleep while you explore bandaraya melaka, especially if you want somewhere near alor gajah and a bit near melaka town. I'd highly recommend it. But it wouldn't be my pick for a special celebration holiday or for people who want to stay cooped up in the room. I'm writing this while I'm still here, on a booking from September 12 to 14, 2025.
Think twice before checking in. The facilities look old and dirty, and there's a lot of maintenance trouble. The carpet in the room was horrible, insects were in the room, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and there was a foul smell. The air conditioner filter wasn't cleaned properly. In the bathroom, the window was broken so insects kept coming in, the drain was clogged, and the shower water ran very slowly. The hose was also far from the toilet. The bed had bed bugs and a foul wet smell. I got itchy and had marks left on my skin from the bites, and the bedsheet was stained. I wasn't happy with the customer service either. Workers took customers' requests for granted and delayed things for a long time. Was I expecting too much from a bumiputera motel? Better not. You can charge an affordable price, but please keep the rooms hygienic and improve your customer service. A disappointed customer.
The room was much bigger than I expected, and they even folded the towels into a swan. At this price, it feels like a real bargain and I’d definitely recommend it. The only thing that bothered me was the strong naphthalene smell in the toilet. It drifted outside too.
I called on the evening of 26 April 2023 to ask about the rates. A staff member who seemed new quoted RM99 for a regular room without a window and RM169 for one with a window. When I checked online, the price was cheaper. I prefer paying the property directly so it receives the full amount, since online agents take a commission, but with this experience I wouldn’t really recommend booking here. Management, please look into it.
The room and toilet were both clean, and the water pressure was good. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. A good budget option in the alor gajah area, and I’d recommend it.
