I regret booking here. We paid for the most expensive room, which was a family room, and it was unbelievably cramped. There was barely room to breathe, let alone walk around or put our things anywhere. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Urban inn is much better.

Breakfast was tasty, with nasi lemak, toast, eggs, coffee and tea. The queen room was comfortable and cost under RM100 a night. I enjoyed even my one-night stay and would come back on another trip.

There’s plenty nearby: a coin laundry next door that’s open from 8am to 10pm, a nice cafe directly behind the hotel, and Jitra Mall behind that. The mall seems to be fading, but the bowling alley is busy. The hotel is right by the roadside, and the room price, with the government rate, was cheaper than where I usually stay. Daily breakfast is included, which makes it a good deal even though it’s simple nasi lemak, regular toast and half-boiled eggs. I was in Jitra for some business and stayed seven nights. I’d come back the next time I have work there. One small issue with the room: the prayer space is tight for someone 5'6", so you have to get the angle just right 😅

The staff were friendly, the room was nice enough, and the price was affordable. The iron didn’t work and the air con wasn’t very cold, but I was satisfied with my three days and two nights there.
