Getting food nearby was easy, and the first two nights in a twin room went fine. I couldn't book all four nights together, so the hotel let me reserve two days at a time. The trouble started after I moved to the king room: the sheets were dirty and gave me a rash, the pillowcase was yellowish, and I found dead insects by the bed. An aircon condenser just outside the window also made the room warmer. Wi-Fi was slow, and mobile data barely worked in the rooms. With clean sheets, it could be okay for one night.

Getting around on foot is easy: there's a mart downstairs, a Mamak at the corner, a clinic to the right, and Caltex directly opposite. You can even walk from the hotel to Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah. The twin room had a fridge, and mine was clean, comfortable, and had no smell. There’s a surau in the Level 1 lounge, and the hotel has an elevator.

We were planning to stay here for two weeks because of a medical emergency, and the hotel seems affordable and comfortable enough. The hospital is across the road, around 400m away. Staff and other people here were friendly and helpful, and the service was good. There’s a mini market next door open until 11pm, plus a coffee shop that stays open until midnight.

For travellers trying to avoid city traffic, this is a handy stop: it’s about 2-3 minutes from North-South highway exit 178. We stayed one night on the way to Thailand and another on the return, and the location worked perfectly. There’s a convenience store on the ground floor, an eatery open 20 hours, a 24-hour petrol station across the road, and a hospital about 100 mtrs away. Rooms were neat and clean, and the hotel looks newly built. The open car park outside made parking easy. Good value for a night’s stop if you’re travelling to Thailand.
