Liberty Arc @ Ukay Ampang - Ampang Jaya Kl

The property itself was nice, and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable when I collected the key and went in. I booked through Agoda for 4 days and 3 nights, but it was too far from my course location, so I chose not to stay overnight. I returned the key another day and checked out one day early. I only used the bathroom and cleaned it afterward. I took photos to show I hadn’t stayed there or made a mess. A bidet in the toilet would be a small improvement, since using only a bucket is inconvenient. There was no Netflix, and replies from management were very slow. What’s really upsetting is that nearly 2 months later, I still haven’t received my deposit back. I don’t know what I did wrong. Please think carefully before booking. I’ll remove this review once the deposit is refunded. I booked it through Agoda. Please refer to the photo.

It’s quiet, convenient and close to the KL area, with easy access to nearby highways. Around the condo there’s a speed99 mart, 7eleven, a few places to eat, self laundry and plenty of other amenities. The facilities include a sauna and steam room, water features, an Olympic-size pool, a fully equipped gym, and tennis and squash courts. A good stay for young couples or a couple with one child.

I lost nearly RM1k from my rental deposit because the owner, a Muslim woman, wouldn’t properly meet her responsibilities as a landlord. She kept part of the deposit for cleaning the house, even though it wasn’t dirty, and for washing curtains I never used because I had my own. She said they were for the next tenant, but those costs should have been hers to cover. Other things that the landlord should have paid for were also charged against my deposit. It felt extremely selfish and unfair. The property agent was no help either. In my opinion, he was dishonest and manipulative with tenants. My unit was at Block A, Level 21, Unit 1*. Please be careful before renting here. *To the owner, saya tak halalkan duit saya yang awak guna tu ya.*

The facilities are superb, with easy access and a nice view of KL.
