Royale Chulan Cerating Villa & Chalet

We had a spacious room with a beautiful beach view, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. A few things let the stay down: the coffee tasted poor both in the room and at breakfast, and we noticed sandflies on the fruit at the buffet. The path to the rooms felt dark, with insects around and shrubs overgrown between the plants. Inside, the raised divider was slippery and could be dangerous for children. The hotel has a lot of potential, and fixing these issues would make a real difference.

Nur Shuhada (ASM) coordinated the Hari Raya dinner so well, staying attentive and keeping everything running smoothly from start to finish. The whole evening was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly, coordinated team and warm service. Thanks also to Haziq (ECH), Nazar, Shafiq, and Nisa from F&B, the rest of the F&B team and staff on duty, plus Aizat and Jerry and the buggy and Front Office teams for their smooth assistance. We appreciated everyone's effort at Royale Chulan Cherating on 18th April.

Mr. Faiza really looks after guests and makes everyone feel at home. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. The place has a great vibe, and it's only steps from the beach. It's very family-friendly, with nice rooms and balconies. They aren't bungalows, but the separate outdoor entrance and balcony still give each room a private feel.

The view is pretty nice, but the food was below expectations. Breakfast had the same menu every day, so there wasn't much choice, and the buggy took ages. I once waited up to 40 minutes for a ride that lasts five. We spent one night in a villa and two in a chalet. The villa room was okay, though it could use work. The chalet room was really bad, with mold on the curtain and a tiny bathroom for the price. I could've paid that much elsewhere for a better room and better amenities. Please look into these issues.
