Desaru Utama Residance Aisy Homestay

Desaru Utama was a terrible experience. We were locked out of the bathroom and could only reach an unhelpful AI bot, with no real service. Getting around was inconvenient, with long U-turns needed to go places and no food within walking distance. The quality felt cheap, and after we left the owner complained about a plastic bin. I'd have been better off at a resort where guests are actually cared for.

The room was spacious, and it’s near a mall and places to eat, but the WiFi was weak and the TV didn’t work. I tried calling the host to get it sorted, but nobody responded or followed up.

Desaru johor by Glex was a big disappointment. The actual apartment was dirty and smelled bad, unlike the misleading photos. The sofa and bed cover had a strong unpleasant odor, the toilet tap was tiny, and the WiFi didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend it. They should update the pictures to show the place as it really is.

A good spot for a vacation, with shops close to the apartment. Parking is available, the swimming pool was clean, and food courts are within walking distance.
