You’ll hear planes flying overhead every 3 to 5 minutes all day, so be ready for that. The accommodation and food were good, and the outdoor activity was good too. The training room, though, lacked service: no cleaning or water bottle refills, and the mic system sucked. Overall, 7/10.

The toilets and showers were dark and a bit scary, like somewhere horror movie characters should avoid. Maybe that adds to the adventure, but I’d bring a flashlight. The rest of Tadom Hill Resorts was clean and well maintained, and the food was surprisingly good. We had team building here and loved the peaceful feel. It’s only 45 minutes from KL, yet felt far away from all the noise and chaos. Great for team building or a city break. Would come again, flashlight in hand.

The paid food at one of the restaurants was genuinely nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a kampung style that fit the setting, pickleball was fun and only RM15, and some games were free. ATV and go-kart rides cost extra. The lake looks great in photos, but there’s a sign saying the water contains germs and to consult a doctor if you feel unwell within two weeks after swimming. Swim at your own risk. The lake has no beach, and management could improve the stay by fitting door nets and spraying for mosquitoes after servicing the rooms. The supplied mosquito liquid didn’t seem to work. Well, that’s part of the “back to nature” experience. The soundproofing is almost nonexistent: you can hear upstairs guests walking and dragging luggage, as well as airplanes overhead. I also hadn’t realized the toilet and bathroom were shared public facilities, my oversight. The bathroom is compact, with three hooks, no rack for toiletries, and only body shampoo. At check-in, used cups were sitting by the basin, and housekeeping hadn’t removed them. If you’re mainly after a relaxing spot for photos and social media and don’t mind details, it works. Just manage expectations.

The team-building activities and setting were good for group bonding, and I enjoyed the stay overall. But the go-kart experience left a bad impression. We’d paid for a double-seat ride, then I was told I couldn’t ride because the kart was too small for my body size. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable. I offered to pay more, but staff didn’t suggest another solution. When we asked about switching to a single-seat kart, they seemed reluctant and unhelpful. I hope management improves how staff communicate and handle situations like this.
