The location was the best part for me. Batu Caves Hotel is close to Batu Caves, handy for an early visit before the crowds, and restaurants, convenience stores, and public transport are all walkable. It was also fairly quiet at night, so I slept well. My room was small and basic, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the connection stayed stable, which helped when I was planning the day. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were polite and helpful. Service was simple but enough for a comfortable stay. The room was tidy and cleanliness was acceptable, though some worn areas could use better upkeep. It didn't affect my stay much, but might stand out if you're particular about that. For the price, it felt like good value. A practical option for a short visit if location and affordability matter more to you than luxury.

I found cockroaches in the room, and the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The hotel seems poorly maintained: switches, showers, hangers, and lights were broken and hadn't been fixed. I could hear intimate activity in the next room, too. There isn't a restaurant here. Not a good stay.

Parking was easy to access, and the price was affordable during my two-day stay.

The amount due at check-in didn't match the payment order from trivago,/hotels. Com, so I had to pay extra. The receptionist didn't seem familiar with online bookings.

For a budget hotel it's about what you'd expect, though the rooms were really clean.
