Eastin Hotel Penang

The attentive service made us feel looked after throughout the meal. Plates were cleared discreetly and quickly, and our glasses stayed full. Thanks to Fadzil, Fika, Ika, and Minhaj, and to the other servers and chefs as well. The buffet had plenty of variety across its stations, with fresh food, authentic flavors, and dishes that felt homemade and traditional. I’ve tried buffets around the world, and this one really stands out. A memorable experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great buffet.

Queensbay Mall is an easy walk away, and the gym and pool were well maintained. I also got a complimentary upgrade to a spacious, clean, comfortable suite, with snacks and drinks in the minibar as a thoughtful extra. Check-in went smoothly. Breakfast had a good mix of Asian and Western food, though it gets busy early. I noticed some noise from the air conditioning and nearby traffic, but still had a very pleasant stay and thought it was good value. Great for business or leisure.

We’ve been coming back to this same hotel in Penang for the past ten years. Queensbay Mall is only five minutes away on foot, and the rooms are clean and well soundproofed, with a comfortable bed and well-kept amenities. We stayed for a week this time, and breakfast never got boring. There was a good variety, and the hot station changed every day. Big thanks to the chef and serving staff, especially Ms Azura.

The room was immaculate, and the lounge made it easy to relax or get work done. Booking the Executive Floor for our 4-day, 3-nights stay gave us the comfort and privacy we wanted, and felt worth every penny. Ms. Winnie (Manager) and her team were the real highlight. They were warm, attentive, and professional, paying close attention and making sure we had what we needed throughout the stay. We’d gladly return and recommend the Executive Floor.
