The check-in was a mess after I had booked through OYO's official website a month ahead. The receptionist refused to honor the booking and told me to book again, saying they accepted neither cards nor online bank transfers, only cash, plus a RM150 deposit. She also turned down my offer to pay by QR and, with a bad attitude, told me to withdraw cash at the mall across the road. There wasn't even a welcome greeting. The stairs were narrow, there was no lift, and nobody helped with my luggage even when my hands were full. A really awful experience.

The room was clean, and the security setup really impressed me: you need a code to get into your room and a card to enter the lobby. The price was good too. I stayed here recently and would definitely come back.

I booked through Booking.com, but they claimed they had never listed the hotel there. The service was very bad.

We'd already paid online through Booking.com, but the receptionist wouldn't let us check in because the hotel didn't agree with the app's price. They said an email should have told us to find another hotel or request a refund, but we never got one. Sorting it out was a real hassle: we had to call several numbers for the refund, then wait 7 to 14 days. Please do something to prevent this happening again. This hotel doesn't deserve a star.

After a long drive, we got there around 7 pm and were turned away even though we'd booked and paid through an online app. They said the app's price was too cheap for them, but that was outside our control and we'd already paid. We had to leave and spend hours driving around town to find another hotel. They even told us to cancel the booking, and we still got charged. We ended up losing money through no fault of our own. Oyo, please do something. I'm deeply disappointed.
