The Family Room was on the 3rd floor, and there is no lift in the building. Carrying our luggage up the stairs was a hassle, especially for families with elderly parents or anyone with mobility problems. The room itself was in very poor shape. There was visible mold on the ceiling and thick dust around the headboard. The cups were dirty and dusty too, and the floor felt sticky under bare feet. The kettle didn't work, and the hot water system had problems that made it hard to shower properly. For what we paid, I expected much better cleanliness, maintenance and convenience. The room didn't feel comfortable or welcoming, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to other travelers. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the upkeep.

The window view was nice, but the surroundings were noisy. The room wasn't clean enough, the water heater didn't work, and the door wasn't working properly.

Check-in was downstairs at Hotel Pop Ash reception. That was when I realized this hotel is under the same management as Hotel Pop Ash. I booked a deluxe king room and was given room 301 on the 3rd floor, so be prepared to use the stairs since there is no elevator. The room had a nice street view with part of the mountain visible. When it rained and we couldn't go farther on foot, OK De Hot Pot Restaurant just downstairs was convenient for dinner. Photos were taken on 24th May 2024, and I checked in on 23rd May 2024.

The water heater wasn't working, so showering in the cold Cameron Highlands weather was extremely uncomfortable. It's a basic necessity, and I hope management fixes it and takes the problem seriously.
