Chariton Hotel Alma

It's a good location near Aeon Mall, though I'd say it's only suited to staying overnight rather than spending the day relaxing. The TV had no signal and there was no Netflix. The receptionist's mood could be better, though she was very helpful when arranging early check-in.

There are several room types, and the room was comfortable and relaxing. The rate was affordable, and the place has a modern, elegant feel, with black paint on the outside wall.

We had a wonderful stay. The Filipina staff member who helped us really stood out for her genuine care for guests and attention to detail. That's the kind of service that makes you want to come back.

For a one-night stop, it was comfortable enough to get some rest. The hotel is a three-storey corner building, and family rooms are available. There’s a non-halal dim sum restaurant in the lobby. You can get drinking water at reception, and there’s an ironing board on every floor. The room also had an electric kettle, mugs, plastic stirrers and 3-in-1 coffee sachets. The bathroom was small, but toiletries were provided and the hot and cold water pressure was strong.
