I've been coming back for 10 years, and it's still a cozy, nice place. I like it here. The water is decent, unlike places where tap water smells, the waste arrangements are perfect, parking is good, and security is good. It's quiet and relaxing, with fresh air and good circulation because the place sits a little higher, so it doesn't feel super hot on sunny days. They keep it clean, and the garden is in good shape. Some maintenance is needed, especially around the pool. It looks worse than it did 10 years ago, and they could do a better job of keeping it up to standard.

The security guards are helpful, which is the one good thing here. The parking design and elevator layout are both inconvenient and poorly planned.
I've been living here for almost three and a half years, but it's gotten so bad that I want to leave. Since the management changed in 2025, The Hyve has felt more and more chaotic. At night, rats come out in the parking lot, and seeing them there is unsettling. There are rats in the garbage room too, so taking out the trash is frightening. Sometimes large rats are in the garden by the swimming pool at night, and I'm now afraid to take my children there for walks. Many homes in this community are being used as guesthouses. They can get extremely noisy at night, sometimes until midnight, and it seriously affects our sleep. I've complained to the security guards, but nothing has come of it. Management's inaction has been very disappointing. After more than three years here, I feel I have no choice but to move out.
I have lived here for more than a year, but now I need to move for work. I booked a Lalamove on Sunday to take just a few small suitcases of clothes and personal belongings. I had no large or heavy items, no furniture, bed, or refrigerator. It was pouring rain, and loading would have taken only 10 minutes, but security wouldn't let the workers in without management approval. They said nobody worked in the management office on Sundays and told me to call. No one answered. Security connected me with a management supervisor, a woman. I explained what I had and asked if the vehicle could come in briefly so I could load quickly. She said vehicles couldn't enter on Sundays to move items. I asked where this rule was written, since I had never seen a written notice banning Sunday moves, even for small suitcases. I reminded her about the heavy rain and that I would be quick. She said if she let me do it, others would want to move on Sundays and there'd be no rules. Then she rudely told me to move out by myself. I respect rules, but was this one actually communicated to every resident? Is it reasonable? Soon after I moved in, a monkey got into my apartment on a high floor. I first thought it was a burglar, so I called the police. They came with me to the management office to request the surveillance footage. I also sent a letter, but got no reply or even an apology, although the monkey damaged many of my belongings. Isn't the management office responsible for residents' safety and for helping when problems come up? Did you help residents at all?
I stayed at my friend's apartment and really liked the bedroom windows, which run almost from floor to ceiling and give a nice view of the surroundings. The big swimming pool is great, and it's 1.2 m deep. I did miss having umbrellas or sunshades beside it. You can use the gym too. Thanks for liking my review if you found it helpful.
