The staff made the round especially welcoming, greeting us with warm smiles and going out of their way to help. Gemas Golf Course is also a lovely setting, with green fairways, peaceful lakes and mountain views. Its layout has room for beginners on the wide fairways, while bunkers and water hazards add a challenge for more experienced players. A great experience whether you’re new to golf or a pro.

We had a comfortable stay and would come back. Check-in was pleasant, and the room, though dated and basic, was bright and very clean, including the bedding. There was enough lighting and enough power points. The mattress could use a topper, but the AC was strong. Myna birds were noisy in the morning, and doors banged too. I managed to shut ours quietly. The tea at the golfer terrace tasted awful, so better tea bags would be welcome. There’s no food in the evening, but town has plenty of eateries. Having your own transport is recommended.

The changing room was clean, though some users didn’t seem to care about hygiene. It had neither AC nor a fan, and wall fans would be a real plus. The clubhouse was well organised, and the cafeteria is open daily from 7am-6pm. The golf course was enjoyable and well maintained, the green was a bit slow, and the buggy was in good condition.

We stayed the night after my wife’s cousin had a wedding here last weekend. The room was very spacious, though the building has walk-up access. It could use more upgrading. Nice place.

The layout is nice, the staff are friendly, and both the toilet and room were clean. Worth coming to try. Support #gemas golf resort Malaysian!
