Armenian Suite

We had no water for the entire holiday, and had to buy bottled water just to get by. I reported it to the hotel manager but got no response. There was nobody in charge from the evening until the next morning, so we couldn’t even speak to anyone in person. The location is near tourist attractions, but that didn’t make up for the lack of basic necessities. I understand it’s a cheap hotel and wouldn’t complain about the broken TV or the air conditioning not working well, but the water situation really upset me. Not recommended.

The Superior Room I booked in the A**da app was affordable and close to Georgetown attractions, but there were several problems. The ceiling had mold or mildew and leaked, and bits of debris fell on my face while I was showering. The shower heater kept swinging between too hot and too cold, and a previous guest’s wet towel was still in the cabinet. It also wasn’t a quiet place. The app photos were outdated, and the owner replied late and wasn’t very helpful, except about the water pressure.

A lovely canopy-style bed, and most tourist spots are close enough to reach on foot. Good place to stay.

Check-in and checkout were easy, and the price was reasonable. The linens and toilet were clean, although there was a slight smell in the toilet. The air conditioning worked well, the shower temperature stayed steady, but the water pressure varied. Most Georgetown attractions are an easy walk away. The amenities are a bit worn but still work. I felt generally safe, though security during the day could be better since the ground floor is also a restaurant. A practical, affordable option in a great location.
