The staff were attentive, and the price was good. Most of the city’s points of interest are a 1-2 km walk away, which is why I gave it four stars. There’s no handicap access, and the only cooking appliance is a kettle. A small microwave and a water cooler are in the hallway. The building is older and lets in a lot of noise. Our upstairs neighbor dragged furniture around and talked loudly late into the night, which could be a problem if you need sleep. A reminder about the noise would help, as would felt pads on the furniture legs. The place was dusty, and the broken plastic plants would be easier to clean around if they were removed.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

It’s close to Georgetown, which is a plus, and parking is available but limited. We stayed four days and three nights, with no daily housekeeping. Cleanliness could be better, too. Noise carries from upstairs, including chairs moving around.

We were charged RM20 for a towel because it had a makeup stain. I said it could be washed. The staff member rubbed it with water, which removed some of the stain, but then said it was damaged and couldn’t be cleaned. I agreed to pay, but asked to take the towel, and was told company policy wouldn’t allow them to give it to customers. This felt like an unnecessary extra charge.

The bathroom floor is extremely slippery, so it doesn’t seem suitable for elderly parents. If you’re staying more than one day, don’t expect daily room cleaning. That service is only provided for stays over five days; otherwise, you have to pay extra.
