They told me on check-in day that the room had been double booked, blaming a Booking.com system error. I had booked about a month or three weeks earlier and paid the full amount, including the deposit. The person in charge said Booking.com would find me somewhere else, but that alternative was far from where I wanted to stay. It was school holidays, so finding a room at the last minute was almost impossible. I had to pay an extra 2k for accommodation, and the whole mess spoiled our Penang holiday. This was irresponsible and unprofessional. Avoid booking here if you don't want your holiday ruined.

There's plenty nearby to visit, and the customer service was superb. The room was comfy, clean, convenient, and secure, with useful things like an iron, ironing board, and microwave already provided. It's a great place to stay with family or friends. I'd give it 200/100, highly recommended! ✨🤩

We loved this homestay. There's plenty of food within a two-minute walk, including delicious pizza downstairs, and the street isn't too noisy at night. A laundry place is nearby, so that wasn't a problem. The room was clean and equipped with everything you need for a short stay in the heart of Georgetown. There isn't a lift, so you have to take the stairs to the studios. Communication with the host and making the reservation were easy over WhatsApp.

I'm so disappointed with this stay. It was noisy, and the worst part was the uneven bed. I couldn't sleep well, and the water pressure was so low that I couldn't shower properly either. It was a really bad experience. I hope they fix these issues.
