The place has three rooms, a kitchen, and a dining area, with enough space for a family. It’s close to the Penang street art and 1st avenue mall. At night, road noise from cars and motorbikes is noticeable.

Ms. Choo waited up past midnight to hand us the key and show us the facilities after our late flight. The owner and manager were very helpful, and I can’t thank them enough. The house was beautiful and clean, with a great view of the streets. It has an old-style feel and lots of trophies and decorative items, almost like staying in an acquaintance’s home. The beds had been upgraded and were super comfortable.

The owner was great, and the home suited a family vacation perfectly. Parking was quite hard to find. Muslim families should know that it’s like a flat in a non-Muslim surrounding, and there are alcohol bottles stacked near the stairs.
