Veno Hotel

The staff were friendly and gave us helpful directions and advice. Our room was spacious, clean, and even had a safe. Four pillows were provided, which you don’t often get at a three-star hotel. Parking was easy, and Grab or taxis could get there easily. There are lots of eateries within walking distance, including Michelin guide Penang prawn noodle and Loh Mee, a hidden gem CKT in a quiet food court, and durian stalls. Good value for money, highly recommend. 👍🏻👍🏻

The lobby, staff, and service made up for the hotel being a bit far from the attractions, where cab costs can add up. Our room and the service were good, and the setting was peaceful, just as promised. Parking and the entrance were usually crowded. On checkout day, we also had a strong smoke smell coming into the washroom, so using it or leaving the door open was unpleasant. Must’ve been some unruly guests. Apart from that, it was a great hotel.

The staff were very helpful with recommendations, and the location was quite good. We stayed five nights in a new, very clean room. The facilities were complete and convenient, and I especially liked the extremely comfortable bed and pillows, with two pillows per person. Highly recommended.

I slept well all night because the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was very clean. The bathroom was spotless and didn’t have any unpleasant smell during my stay. The outlets worked with several plug types, so there was no need to buy an adapter. I could hear prayer chanting from a nearby mosque, but it wasn’t too disturbing.
