Geo38 Premier Luxury Apartments

We got a great weekday rate through Booking.com. GEO38 is very convenient, with shops and lots of food options within walking distance. Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was spacious, clean and free of unpleasant smells. Recommended for a comfortable, convenient stay.

I only got to stay for one day, unfortunately. The apartment was comfortable and in a great location, and the rooms were spacious and fully equipped. The price was really affordable too, so it felt well worth it.

There was a lot of mist and fog one night, with very cold air, and we could barely see outside. We also noticed the sun didn't rise until after 7 a.m. or set until after 7 p.m. Despite a few issues, we felt the stay was worth the money. We'd been worried because of the many bad reviews, but our 2-night stay was mostly smooth. The staff were kind at check-in and checkout. There's a RM 200 deposit, and paying cash is better if you want it back right away after checkout. The location is in a handy complex, with local cafes, laundry and convenience stores, plus a shortcut bridge at level 5. Be careful not to mix up Geo38 residence with the Geo Hotel next door. Maple Home has an offline staff member and a small lobby. We stayed in a deluxe suite. The room had everything described and no bad odour. The washing machine was a little tricky to start, but the IT staff showed us how. The electric stove had a problem, and the sink water smelled slightly of chlorine. Breakfast was included, with only 3-5 ala carte choices, but it tasted good. On our last day there was a small buffet, which was fine too. Thanks to the PULSE cafe team!

The car park doesn't even have lights, and the rest of the stay wasn't much better. Front office staff were unpleasant, the room was in poor condition, with broken curtains and windows that wouldn't open, and the internet was so bad they might as well advertise no internet. The toilet amenities seemed like the cheapest I've ever seen, and the TV had 24 channels but not one in English. I probably won't stay here again.
