The rooms were clean, and the price for a three-bedroom unit was very affordable. The location is handy too, close to Ipoh city center and lots of local eateries. We spent two weekend nights there. Sleep was a real problem. Loud music, shouting from intoxicated people outside, and traffic noise kept us awake until 4:00 AM. The setting also felt shady and unsettling, with the unit looking out onto an abandoned building. Inside, it was dim because there wasn't proper overhead lighting. Several things were in bad shape: broken cabinets, a dirty oven, and a refrigerator that didn't work. The building parking was very limited, poorly maintained, and so narrow that MPVs, SUVs, 4x4 trucks, and even somewhat longer sedans couldn't fit. We also had a total power outage for 30 minutes. Management didn't seem to know what caused it and had no immediate fix. Affordable, but I wouldn't recommend it if you need sleep or a sense of security.

The room itself was okay, but the master bedroom air conditioning was broken and the maintenance was poor. After we returned from church, the door to the room was locked, so I had to call reception to get it opened. They initially said checkout was at 11am, while everywhere else has checkout at 12pm. Staff then told us we could stay until 1pm, with extra charges after that, but we weren't given any additional time. It was far too expensive for what we got. The worst stay in Ipoh.

The room was spacious and clean, and getting to the main road was easy. The restaurant looks great. The pool needs some attention, though, since there are lots of pigeons around it.

There's a musty smell when you come in, though running the AC for a while helps. The rooms are spacious and clean. Only one room has a window, and it looks over the small rectangular swimming pool. The little kitchen has forks, spoons, and four glasses, but no plates or bowls.

There are plenty of places nearby for local favourites, and the hotel is conveniently close to the town center. Parking is limited, and our room floor was a little dusty during the visit. The hotel has various facilities, though most were closed under the Covid-19 MCO restriction.
