The noise came through the walls and door so clearly that I could hear the hallway and neighboring rooms. Light sleepers should stay away. Our room also felt cramped and awkward because a large structural pillar stood right in the middle. The bathroom was in a dreadful state, with visible mold on the toilet, floor, and even the supplied toilet sandals. The air conditioner leaked, the shower handle was broken, and the exhaust fan in the toilet made a deafening racket whenever it was on. With the lack of cleanliness and upkeep, the stay was very uncomfortable. Management needs to address the housekeeping and maintenance problems.

The free breakfast was a great bonus, and check-in was really quick. Staff were friendly, and our room was spacious, clean, and modern. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back.

The room arrangement was poor, especially since I'd asked for somewhere quiet and was given a roadside-facing room. Maybe an inward-facing one would've been better. The staff were excellent and the reception tried to reach the nearby club, but the club claimed it was closed while the bass kept thumping all night, until 5 a.m. I used to come to this hotel in Skudai all the time, and came back after a while because the service and room quality used to be so good. This time, I finally got some rest at 5 a.m., only for music from the corridor speaker to start at 9 a.m., loud enough to hear clearly in the room. Great staff, but a disastrous stay this time. Not recommended for light sleepers.

I stayed here a year ago and liked it, so I came back with a friend. This time was awful. We heard complaints about poor soundproofing and a nearby club, but thankfully didn't have those problems ourselves. The bathroom had mold across the floor, sink, and toilet button, and a damp, decaying smell from poor ventilation. The room was dusty, seemed not to have been cleaned in a long time, and smelled sour. We had booked two single beds in an L shape, but got a room with two pillars running through it. One pillar sat so close to the door that it was hard to open, and the layout was unpleasant. The make-up-room and do-not-disturb buttons were broken, so nobody came to clean. We were given just one toilet roll for our 3d2n stay, and used it up the first night, so we had to use our own tissues. We don't know why nobody fixed the button. Even so, housekeeping should normally clean rooms whether the button is on or not, unless there's a do-not-disturb sign. At the very least, they should have given us extra rolls.
