KSL D'Esplanade Studio Apartment's 2

I booked unit A21 for the private lift experience, but the secondary door beside the lift had obvious pry marks and signs someone had tried to force it open. We felt really unsafe. The unit was damp and musty too, with a strong mildew smell as soon as we entered, and the toilet was unhygienic, nothing like the professional photos online. I'm honestly confused by the positive reviews. Please look closely at my photos and videos before booking. The actual place is far from what's advertised. My rating is 0.5/5.

The toiletries the host provides were a convenient extra. With three bedrooms and three toilets, the apartment also has enough space to comfortably fit up to 10 people.

The little extras made a difference here. There were dental kits, a hair dryer, rubbish bags, toilet paper, and other essentials that places often forget. The homestay was clean and convenient, and the host's care for guests really came through. From booking through checkout, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Check-in and check-out were easy, with clear instructions, and whenever we had a question the host replied within minutes. It made the stay comfortable and stress-free. I stayed here on 2nd & 3 rd june, and after many years of staying in homestays, this is one of the best I've experienced. The hospitality and customer care stood out. I'd happily choose it again and recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant, worry-free stay.

The apartment is connected to the mall, and the atmosphere here feels different from other malls. There's plenty to do, so we stayed 2 nites. You can eat in the mall or head outside to the old town for all sorts of food, including durians, BKT, and pastries. A new food court nearby just opened with 30+ stalls and all kinds of food. From KSL, other malls like Midvalley are nearby by grab, about $10 to $12 ringgit.
