Country Garden Danga Bay

I’ve stayed here for four years, since 2016, and have experienced Amberside, Bay Laurel, and Royal Strand, from when there were hardly any people until now. The guards are the best part for me. I really like the safety here. At night, Country Garden Danga Bay has a lovely sea breeze, city skyline, and evening sky. The palm trees and photo spots, including the big “gift box” frame and cute lighting, make it look great in pictures. It’s family friendly too, with open paths for walking, space for kids to run, and a small play and exercise area that families use. You can easily spend one or two hours there without planning to. There are night stalls selling fruit, with bright lights and some seating and tables, so you can sit and enjoy your food. You can see durian around too. KK Mart is open 24 hours, and there’s an ATM nearby, which is handy with kids. Cafes like Starbucks are around the corner if you want to relax there. It does get crowded at night, and parking can be difficult depending on when you arrive. Some parts feel a little unfinished or less maintained, especially the lighting and walkways. On busy nights the stalls can look messy. I wish there were more bins and cleaner corners, since the place looks so nice when it’s tidy. For a simple evening out to walk, take photos, let the kids play, get snacks or fruit, and enjoy the breeze, it’s a nice spot. Sunset into early evening is a good time to come. Bring a small mat or let the kids ride scooters, and keep some cash for the stalls.
