Ridwan, the room clearer, helped me with the air conditioner because its controls were so confusing. Without his help, the display kept showing 29.5. The shower pressure was weak and the shower head needs attention. There weren't many TV channels to choose from, and the room had no drawers for keeping personal things safe.

My first visit went really well. The Indian receptionist was helpful and arranged a lower floor room near the lift, just as I asked. On my next two visits, though, the Malay female receptionist reacted to the same request with an annoyed expression. I paid the same price, but got a smaller room on a higher floor the second time. For my third stay, I was told the room matching my request was only available on Level 3 and had no bathtub. I also doubt the lower floors were actually occupied by other guests. It seemed like an excuse to avoid granting the request. As a returning guest paying the same rate, I found that frustrating and disappointing.

The room was clean and roomy, the air conditioning worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a pleasant stay, though the bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was worn enough for me to feel its springs. The basin was awkwardly high and close to the mirror, and the room door was worn and hard to open or shut. A few updates to the furniture and fittings would make a big difference.

Breakfast was nice, especially the egg station, and the room felt comfortable with a classic touch. Check-in was very smooth. You need a TNG Card to park in the basement, but you can validate it at reception. Thanks for the service, I’d stay here again.
